Customers reports about using our shoulder active bar

Mr Dirk Renner writes:

Hello Mr Duttine,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your great invention. I have been playing tennis for 26 years and was only able to do my beloved sport under pain and with medicine for 3 years. The reason was constant pain in my left shoulder, especially when serving.
I was given cortisone injections in regular intervals. In the last year, however, they no longer worked, so that I took tablets against the pain. But, these tablets had severe side-effects, but what does one not do for his beloved sport..
At the end of December 2006, I was even about to have an operation. My doctor at that time wanted to mill out my acromion, in order to make more room for tendons and ligaments. But, he could not grant for final healing.

As I only had the pain when playing tennis and having no pain during day-to-day activities, I decided to give up my beloved sport:

I found your homepage by chance and was, at first, very sceptical. I took a look at your pages and then left them again after a while. After days of further pains, I looked at your homepage again and noticed a telephone number. I spoke to you immediately on the phone and felt immediately understood. It sounded very logical that I would be able to gain control of the narrowness in the acromion through regular training.

Due to this, I ordered the standard shoulder active bar, which was delivered after a few days. Thus began my training. At first I filled the dumb bells supplied with water, some time later I made use of heavier weights.

Yet, after about 3 weeks of intensive training, I was able to stop taking the pills. Today, after barely 3 months, I can play tennis 3 times a week with hardly any pain. Of course, I still keep on training.
At the beginning, I would never have believed that it would work. Now I am totally convinced.. I have told almost all of my fellow tennis players of my faith healing and carry on advertising for you.

Mr Duttine, once again: thank you very much for helping me. Often think back to the painful days of serving and am so glad to be able to do my hobby again without pain.

Mrs Kirsten Czieschowitz writes:

Hello Mr Duttine!
On looking at the previous feedbacks, then it seems that mainly men use your shoulder active bar, those who are caused trouble by wear and tear in the shoulder joint due to sport.. It is time for a woman, who has absolutely nothing to do with sport to say something ;-) I had unspeakable pains in the shoulder for longer than 9 months (impingement syndrome with a stiff shoulder as a result). Physiotherapy was discontinued because everything was inflamed. There was no way of sleeping lying down, I spent the nights sitting up with Ibuprofen. In a forum for pain sufferers I found a link to this homepage and you, Mr Duttine, were so kind to offer me a “lowered”, to keep the bracing angel to a minimum. The first exercises were really exhausting, even putting the arm in the position it was supposed to be! I followed your advice and trained without weights at first. And even that caused a clear improvement after two or three weeks. After 4 weeks I was able to get rid of all of my painkillers.

I have been training with small weights since then. The mobility of my shoulder has improved considerably and if it does hurt every now and then, then only because I have been sloppy about training again. Then I just exercise a bit more and see, it works! The target of being “ free of pain and mobile” depends on the constant planning of training.
That shows me that your device is an optimal development and deserves becoming well-known!! I can only recommend it without restrictions! Especially to housewives:-)))

Once again, thank you very much,
Kirsten Czieschowitz

Mr H. Hollaender writes:

Hello Mr Duttine,
First of all I would like to apologize, I wanted to write much earlier, but as one is, if one no longer has problems, one forgets how that came about.
Well, I can only praise the shoulder active bar to the skies, I trained for about 6 weeks, first with a full bottle of milk (2kg) then with a bottle of fabric conditioner (3kg), and I got better and better and actually have no more pains in my arm or shoulders! And that, although as a fisherman here in Ireland, having to cast my fishing rod for hours on end, from the cliffs and then having to help inexperienced visitors get rid of their pains with warming plasters and arnica cream on the next day!! I have made a lot of advertisement for your shoulder active bar.

It must also be mentioned that I had a shock wave therapy done in a hospital in Cologne 3 years ago, my shoulder was that bad.
But after that, the pains came back and sometimes couldn’t lift my arm at all last autumn.
Thus, without an operation, thanks to the shoulder active bar and my shoulders are fully fit and that at the age of 64.
Best regards.

Mr Gebhardt writes:

Immediately on receiving my shoulder active bar, I started training. I have to mention that I had chronic shoulder pains for 4 years that hindered my lifting weights massively. Now, after a more than acceptable period of training for 6 weeks with the shoulder active bar, I have more or less no discomforts. That is great advantage for me, as doctors advised me to give up weight-lifting .I will carry on training on a regular basis with the justified hope being completely free of pain. Thank you very much for this simple but very effective training device, I can absolutely recommend it.

Mr Steinmetz writes:

Hello Mr Duttine,
Thank you for your enquiry about the shoulder active bar. The shoulder active bar enjoys the special popularity of our German Senior Champion in bench-pressing. After injury to his shoulder, he had to undergo an operation, whereby complications arose due to immobilizing the joint for too long a time.
The joint capsule had shrunk a lot and the joint was completely agglutinated. The doctors treating him were all of the opinion that a continuation of training was out of the question. Due to his adamant intention to take up his favourite discipline again, the Senior Champion achieved the best performance in the shortest time. The application of the shoulder active bar helped him extensively, he carries on using it regularly.

Mr Georg writes:

Dear Mr Duttine,
My experience with the shoulder active bar is very positive. The inflammation of my left shoulder has become very much better after only 2 months of training (twice a week). All visits to the doctor’s before that didn’t help (including injections and medicine). Even in January, bench pressing over 100 kg was only possible under extreme pain. Since March, I have been able to train bench-pressing twice a week without great pain. And I can also consider increase in performance. In April, I was able to achieve a personal best of 180 kg in a competition.. In accordance with your advice, I did the exercises with the shoulder active bar at the beginning with a set of short dumbbells weighing 2.5 kg (3 sets, repeated 25 times) In the meantime, I am at 5 sets a week, repeated25 times with short dumbbells weighing 6kg. To put it in a nutshell, I am very satisfied.

Best regards

  Sports and therapy clinics report.

Mr Rudi Hünig, sports therapist at the Dreifaltigkeits Hospital
Cologne writes:

With great success, shoulder active bar training with the MBFlex model has been put into use in our therapy area since 2001. We have an outpatient rehab centre within the Dreifaltigkeits hospital and the indication area, in which shoulder active bar training is put into use, involves the following:

Shoulder injuries, operationally cared for, like, e.g.
• Ruptures of the rotator cuff
• Sternoclavicular separation
• Dislocation of the shoulder
• Impingement syndrome

Injuries to the shoulder that are treated on a conservative basis ike, e.g.:
• Impingement syndrome
• Dislocation of the shoulder
• Back problems that come from the shoulder area.

The shoulder active bar supports our work in an extraordinary way and contributes to the fact that treatment of the shoulder area is successful much faster.

The physiotherapy department of the Paracelsus Clinic in Kassel wrote the following:

We often use the shoulder active bar with Parkinson patients, who are cognitively clear but have a bad bent-over posture and who still have enough mobility in the shoulder area. A lot of the patients experienced training with the shoulder active bar as positive and pleasant. This device is a valuable enrichment to the course of physiotherapy.
